COMMITTEE MEMBERS APPOINTED BY ATHLETICS SOUTH AFRICA

Athletics South Africa's 12 committees, including four ad hoc committees, have been appointed for the period between 2025-2029.

They include many of South Africa's most experienced officials, administrators, athletes and coaches who will drive key areas within the sport over the next four years.

Nine individuals have been selected as coordinators to oversee these 12 committees. They are Johanita Bester (coaches committee), Adelina Ranthimo (women's and development committees), Sabata Kumalo (technical committee), Michael Masepe (anti-doping and disciplinary committees), Esther Malema (medical and scientific committee), Enoch Skosana (ultra-distance committee), Jean Verster (high performance and race walking committees), Jazz Mnyengeza (constitutional committee) and Kesa Molotsane (safeguarding committee).

"Congratulations to everyone who has been appointed to the national federation's various committees," said ASA president James Moloi. "They have been given a major responsibility through each of the portfolios to serve.

"These committees are crucial for the sustainability and growth of our sport and we are pleased with the level of knowledge and experience we have from a wide range of individuals, who will all play important roles in South African athletics until 2029."
